Maybe the best performing bowsprit glider ever.... All Bauteks before( Saphir 16/17, Zephir /CX) had double (side/top/front) wires, even the latest, still actual model ( Astir )...The Pamir has only single wires, so much less parasitic drag.
After almost 2 decades on conventional gliders, I got a Zephir last spring. 2 weeks ago, a Pamir, for the cost of 2 new downtubes. I was told, flies OK, but could only be landed on wheels... Simply relaxing sail tension on the sidetubes by 1cm ( same what I did with my

Oops, relaxing the sail tension was all that was needed.
How those bowsprits fly? See the commentaires for the Pamir... OK, actual high performance kingpost gliders have better L/D at higher speeds. But, in terms of gaining altitude in marginal conditions, these are the "Ultimate Flying Machines".. Just love them.
