[Translation of the original French comment]
Wing no homogenous to fly : few stable, very light effort in pitch but roll with inertia. Not designed for aerobatic. Very less pleasant than an Hiway Super Scorpion. Parts similar to American ones. But how beautiful it is !

I believe this is a picture of the Olympus 160 I bought from Ashley Doubtfire back in the 70's.
It was Gerry Breens old glider and I paid about £150 for it in Crickhowell, South Wales.
When I had finished with it, I modified it for the Bogner Birdman rally. However, the modification made it unflyable and it ended up in the sea and sank.
I am now thankful to the RNLI and the frogman who retrieved it.....
Great guys and great days!
By the way, my youngest son is now named after Ashley, my friend and hang gliding pioneer.

As head sailmaker of Electra Flyer from 1979 to 1980, I remember making dozens of Olys with the particular color scheme shown in the picture. So I wouldn't identify it by color alone. We also made a lot of Cirruses and a few Doves with that pattern.

Ayant appris à voler en 1979 avec des pilotes esthètes, j'ai vite choisi l'Olympus comme vaisseau personnel
Acheté tout début des années 80 à Mike de Glanville il m'a accompagné jusqu'au milieu des année 90'
Une ligne magnifique et des trajectoires émouvantes ...
