03/10/2006 | I finally found some info on AGUR , great! but it looks like your searching too! I have an AGUR glider, not sure if its an 1978 AGUR or a 1982 PUMA , pretty sure its the 1978 . the case has a tag that says AGUR Glider with logo, "P.O.B. 2124 HOLON, ISRAEL and lists the phone # and telex (discontinued i believe) with "TECHEN AGUR" after that.
I took some photos of it, though not thtat good, but maybe we can do some info swapping. I wanted the specs, but you dont list any. I will try their phone # you have, the web link isnt their anymore either. contact me if you want to get some photos and well take it from there, do these gliders have any collectors value? They seem quite rare! Mine is in pretty good condition, I want to take lessons and use it, and am wondering about air worthyness, I wanted to put a trike on it. Its built pretty solid by the looks of it. Any more info would be greatly appreciated.

23/10/2009 | I was a chief instructor in sough wales in 1978 when an Agur appeared. I test flew it on some small slopes and found it really unstable. It would fly fine, then suddenly flex downwards and become divergent. I refused to fly it. My boos (The school owner, Mike Adams) insisted on soaring it in Merthyr Tydfil. After takeoff, it flexed and dived unstoppably into the ground. I found mike face down in water, seriously injured. He never recovered and died a few years later. Last I ever saw of an Agur...
